Boating at Burnham

It was an afternoon in December 2011, and I think it also was a wonderful afternoon to bond with friends after an amazing Flash Mob at the Rizal Memorial Park 🙂

Burnham was a little bit crowded but of course there was enough space for everyone. 🙂 Then, since we were all excited, we went to try the Boats in there. There were 7 of us who rented 1 boat. It was of course a little bit scary getting on it, but finally, all of us was on the boat, and we’re ready to go. 🙂

Among the 7 of us, no one was professional enough to maneuver the boat. The girls were the ones who maneuvered the boat while the 2 guys we’re just smiling and laughing at us. (Yes they did..) It seems as if we weren’t moving and we’re just staying at one phase, which was awful because others had gone far and we were just moving on the same area. 😦

And by the way, Joanna and I were shouting the whole time because the boat was always shaking, which might lead us to fall off the boat and get ourselves wet. Then finally, Kuya Arnold volunteered so we thought we we’re safe. But I guess I was wrong again. 😀 But at least we went a little too far, but the hardest part was going back. 😀 haha that’s the funny part because we we’re again stuck in another area and boats who passes near by, happens to bump ours which got      me and Joanna a little bit more scared since we we’re totally shaking.

Shouting at the top of our lungs thinking if we could ever get back to the main station; Joanna and I we’re totally freaking out, and the rest of them was laughing at us the whole time. We got a little help but just a little so it didn’t helped us get through.. after 20 or 25 minutes staying there, finally we rowed back to the main station and got out of that boat. And at last we went back safe! 🙂 pheew…

Then I realized that at times like this, not everyone near you, or close to you could help you get out of that certain something your stuck on. Sometimes, you just need “YOU” to get yourself through all those stuff that you we’re stuck into. 🙂 But anyway, it was a challenge and had been an amazing experience. 😀 Besides all the fears, and all the stress, we we’re able to try it, and got through it. 🙂
